| James Woodrow Boggs, 98, of Ivydale, West Virginia, passed away September 30, 2011 at his home.
He was born in Clay County , the son of the late James Ernest Boggs and Blanche Lough Boggs.
Surviving are a daughter, Sandra Myers of Culpepper VA; three grandchildren, Beverly White of Washington, Tammy Hanson of Georgia, and Melissa Kern of Virginia; ten great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and great nephew Jeff (Micki) Boggs.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Alvira Boggs; and a son, James Camdon Boggs.
Graveside services were held Sunday, October 2nd at the Boggs Cemetery at Big Otter with Rev. Kenneth Tanner officiating.
Military graveside rites were conducted by the Clay VFW Post.
Stump Funeral Home of Arnoldsburg was in charge of the arrangements. |
