The Calhoun High School Varsity volleyball team played in a quad match at Spencer on Tuesday, Sept. 20th.
Calhoun was defeated by Braxton County 22-25, 25-14, 21-25.
Leading the team in service points was Shayla Arnold with 19 points, 4 aces; followed by Jordan Mace 9 points, 1 ace; Kenzie Hicks 5 points, 2 aces; Amber Wilford 3 points, Rochelle Gerwig 2 points, Megan Barton 1 point. Setting: Chelsea Hicks 75/80, 24 assists; Stephanie Hall 34/36, 3 assists; Hitting: Wilford 70/72, 23 kills; Rochelle Gerwig 20/22, 2 kills;Jordan Mace 10/11, 1 kill; Kenzie Laughlin 7/7, 1 kill; Megan Barton 5/6. Both the Varsity and JV traveled to Gilmer on Thursday, Sept 22 to play in an LKC South match.
