Listen to the inspirational sounds of the gospel quartet Heaven's Rush as they perform the final concert in the Wirt County Courthouse Centennial Concert Series, Sunday, September 18, from 2 to 4 p.m.
The quartet is comprised of founder, Delores "DJ" Hersman, and members Brian Lafferre, Bob Heflin, and Jeff Arnold. Drawing from a variety of musical backgrounds, their melodic harmonies and stylish vocal abilities bring a fresh new mix to Southern Gospel music. They have had the honor of opening for such gospel music hall of famers as The Kingsmen, the Isaacs, and Gold City.
The concert is being sponsored by Matheny-Whited Funeral Home and will be held at the Wirt County High School auditorium. Sound is provided by Donald Sheppard of Shep's Entertainment.
