Authorities have arrested Alfred Gene Starcher, 25, on multiple charges in Calhoun.
Central Regional Jail says he has three felony charges, daytime burglary, conspiracy to commit a felony and accessory before and after the fact.
Starcher also has two misdemeanor charges, destruction or injury to property and petit larceny.
Calhoun resident Brian Scott Lamp, 28, has been charged with one felony count of nighttime burglary.
A criminal complaint says Starcher and Lamp came to the residence of Jack Watkins, stating they wanted to look for some false teeth Watkins was storing for a family member with other items.
Watkins told police that Starcher removed his billfold from a pair of pants containing $98. Police later obtained a confession about the crime.
The wallet was thrown into a creek, police recovered $13, according to the complaint.
The criminal complaint says during an earlier incident on August 14, Cleora Newell reported culprits in her house at Orma, police now say that Lamp was involved in that incident while Starcher stood watch.
The West Virginia State Police, Grantsville Detachment, no longer releases public information locally.
