LOUISA CHAPEL WILL HONOR CALHOUN RESPONDERS ON 9/11

September 11 marks the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks in New York, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.

Louisa Chapel United Methodist Church in Arnoldsburg will honor Calhoun's First Responders on 9/11.

The church will be hosting a dinner on Sept. 11th at the Arnoldsburg Community Building at 5 pm.

Invitations were sent out last week inviting all Calhoun Co. firefighters and city, county, and State Police officers.

Also Calhoun EMS employees, Minnie Hamilton EMS employees, 911 Center employees and their families are invited to join the church for dinner to honor the fallen heroes of Sept. 11th.

The event will also extend appreciation for all those who faithfully serve as First Responders.

"This is the church's way of saying thats for all their hard work, faithful service, and steadfast devotion," said Pastor Shelly Mace.

Sabrina May will speak for a few minutes about her work with the EMS and Jacob McCumbers will share about working with the 911 Center.

Jenna Jett will present certificates on behalf of the church, with a special church service part of the event.
