DEPUTY SHOOTS MAN WHO PULLED GUN - Marion County Sheriff Joe Carpenter said a man was fatally shot by a deputy after he drew a gun on the officer late Wednesday night.
Reports said that the deputy saw the man walking along the road and made contact with him.
Sheriff Carpenter said the man pulled a semi-automatic pistol on the deputy and the officer then shot him once.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been been released.
WAYNE CO. VIOLET DEATH - Wayne county deputies are investigating the violent death of a man in the East Lynn area of the county.
Deputies say a man identified as David Tabor forced his way into a home.
The owner of the home, with other family members present, stabbed Tabor multiple times, killing him.
Jden Adkins is claiming self defense.
Tabor's family told media that the two men were fighting over a girl.
QUIET DELL HEIST - The Harrison County Sheriff's Department is investigating an early morning armed robbery at the Exxon in Quiet Dell shortly before 3 a.m. Thursday.
Deputies say that a man with little to no hair and wearing jeans and a hoodie held up the clerk there with a handgun.
The man fled on foot and got away with an undisclosed amount money.
FAIRMONT MAN HOLDS KNIFE TO WOMAN'S THROAT - Fairmont City Police have arrested a Marion County man for violent behavior.
David Andrew Warnick, 25, is charged with malicious assault.
Police said Warnick beat a female victim with his fist and threatened to kill her.
During the altercation, he held a knife to the victim's throat.
MINGO BAR OWNER SHOOTS MAN - A Mingo County bar owner has been arrested for allegedly shooting a man outside of his business.
The incident happened at Dandy's Bar and Grill in Williamson around 3:30 a.m. Thursday.
Bar owner Hobart Fugett reportedly got into an argument with a man outside of the establishment, allegedly pulling out a gun and shooting the victim in the head.
The victim has been released from a hospital.
Fugett is charged with malicious wounding.
