September is the Hur Herald's annual fundraiser.
The Herald is in its 16th year, entering a 14th year on-line.
If you are a Herald reader and enjoy the publication, we graciously request you make a donation now to keep it going for another year.
Without your annual contribution, it will not be possible.
The Herald, since its beginning, was never intended to make money, the goal is to deliver service to Calhoun, regional residents and readers around the USA. The Herald has well over 2 million visitors a year.
The Herald staff and contributors work free, and all money is directed toward keeping the project going.
Last year we were hopeful to get enough money to make necessary equipment upgrades. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.
While many Herald readers donate $75, $100 or more, we suggest you consider an annual subscription donation of $40 to $50, although donations of any amount will certainly count and be appreciated.
MAKING A DONATION
CHECKS/MONEY ORDERS can be sent to Hur Herald, 7697 Pine Creek Road, Mt. Zion WV 26151.
PAY-PAL donations can be sent to dianne@hurherald.com
Please include your name and mailing address.
We express our appreciation to all our readers and supporters for their support and encouragement, with hopes that the Herald will march forward.
READER CONTRIBUTIONS ARE NECESSARY
The Herald is aware of the great financial collapse experienced in the US, its' pain now being felt in rural West Virginia.
But we still need a minimal amount of donated money to operate and keep it going.
We have received lots of comments from readers who suggest that "If every reader would just sent a dollar," you could make it.
That's true, but unfortunately donations come from very few supporters, some being very generous.
The Herald is also a victim of human behavior. When its free, why bother.
So, if you are a reader and the Herald has been part of your reading life, "brother, could you spare us a contribution."
We respectfully request your donation now.
