| Aulene Miller, 88, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Thursday, August 11, 2011, in CAMC - General Hospital, Charleston, after a short illness.
She was born September 2, 1922, in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Elza V. and Sybil E. Rhodes Starcher.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and former employee of Roane General Hospital. She was a Christian.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Ralph E. Miller; children, Carolyn Costello-Prevatt of Charlotte NC, Ed Miller of Spencer, Christine Keen of Statesville NC, Marilyn Burgess and Randy Paul Miller both of Landis NC; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 13 at 1:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Bro. Bill Walton officiating. Burial will be in the Gandeeville Cemetery, Gandeeville.
