CAILEE CALABRESE CROWNED NC NATIONAL AMERICAN MISS JR. PRETEEN

Cailee Calabrese, daughter of Dr. Carmen and Kimberly Calabrese of Lumberton, NC was recently crowned the National American Miss Jr. Preteen for North Carolina out of 102 contestants and will represent her state in November in Anaheim, California.

Her mother, the former Kimberly Wayne is a graduate of Calhoun High School, her grandparents, Doris and Ray Wayne now reside in Elizabeth.

Cailee has kicked-off her 3rd Annual "Movies for Military®" which is her registered organization. Cailee started her organization because she wanted "to give a gift back for protecting us." She has recently volunteered with the March of Dimes, made and delivered over 600 Easter bags and cards to the military families at Fort Bragg. She will also be volunteering with the upcoming American Red Cross 5th annual Run for the Red.

Cailee just taped a TV commercial this week for the upcoming event Big Toys for Kids sponsored by Communities in Schools to raise money for under privileged children with school supplies, she will also volunteer for the event. She also dances and likes to call bingo at local nursing homes. Cailee is a little girl with a big heart that loves to volunteer in her community.

Cailee will also be receiving the Gold Level for her volunteer work which is the highest level awarded and will receive a letter and pin signed by the President of the United States. Cailee enjoys dancing, singing and acting and this year received numerous awards for dance competition and was a dance scholarship recipient.
