| Clara Turner age 75, of Akron, Ohio, departed this life Monday morning July 18, 2011 in Akron General Medical Center, Akron OH. following a brief illness.
Born August 25, 1935 in Calhoun County WV she was a daughter of the late Gallory and Ada Cottrell McCumbers. On October 9, 1959 she was united in marriage to Lee Robert Turner (formerly of Gilmer County WV) and he preceded her in death on July 14, 2006.
Mrs. Turner was formerly employed by Goodyear and Green Township Local Schools. She enjoyed the Folk Festival and family reunions.
Surviving are 3 children, Leon Langford, Beverly Ash and husband Glen, Bryce Langford and wife Patty all of Akron, Ohio; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Glady Snyder of Avon OH; and 1 brother, Junior McCumbers of Cleveland OH.
In addition to her parents and husband, Clara was preceded in death by one son, Jeffery Lee Turner on July 10, 2010.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday July 21, 2011 at the Ellyson Mortuary Inc. Glenville, with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Burial followed in the Pisgah Cemetery, Rt. 5 West (Holts Run).
