| Judith A. Pettit, 68, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Saturday, July 2, 2011, in the Roane General Hospital, Spencer, after an extended illness.
She was born January 16, 1943, in Spencer, a daughter of the late Guy Marple and the late Bessie P. Fields Marple Lesher.
Mrs. Pettit was a born again Christian, January 18, 2011, and associated with the Faith Baptist Church, Spencer. She retired from Kellwood Corp. with 35 plus years of service. She enjoyed spending time on the computer and her pet rabbit "Thumper."
Survivors include her husband, Charles W. Pettit of Spencer; brother, Glenn A. Marple of Uniontown OH; sister, Dianna Carpenter of Spencer; brothers-in-law, James Pettit of California, Roger Pettit of Ohio, Jerry and Ronnie Pettit both of Spencer.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 6 at 3:30 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Bro. Bill Walton and the Rev. Wayne McGlothlin officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
