| Megan Oil & Gas Company is now proposing an increase of natural gas rates in Gilmer and Calhoun counties.
The Public Service Commission is considering a proposal from Megan Oil & Gas Company to increase rates in the Tanner area of Gilmer County by about 78 percent and in the Big Springs area of Calhoun County by about 71 percent.
The PSC is due to rule on the matter by the end of October.
