Faye Newbrough Lynch, 83, of Brohard, Wirt County, WV passed away
suddenly Wednesday morning, May 22, 2002, at Camden-Clark
Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.
She was born in Wirt County, a daughter of the late Joseph P. and Lillie Lewis
Newbrough. She was a meat cutter at the Macfarland Store and enjoyed quilting
and gardening. She was a member of the Hartley Church of Christ and an active
member of the Wirt County Senior Citizens.
She will be missed by her two sons, Robert Lynch of Brohard, WV, and Roger
Lynch of Washington, WV; three brothers, Lawrence (Grant) Newbrough of
Loraine, Ohio, Robert Newbrough and Clarence (Jake) Newbrough both of
Brohard, WV; two sisters, Inis Swisher of Brohard, WV, and Delorce
Gibson of Elizabeth, WV; two grandchildren, Joshua David Lynch and Andrea
Dawn Lynch both of Florida.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Jimmy E. Lynch; one brother,
Joseph (Bud) Newbrough in 1974; and one sister, Opal Burrows in 1993.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Busch Funeral Home, Elizabeth,
with Pastor Michael Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in the Wolverton
Cemetery, Munday, WV. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral
home.
