| Hubert C. White, 83, of Shock, Gilmer County, West Virginia, passed away June 27, 2011 at Roane General Hospital in Spencer.
He was born in Gilmer County a son of the late Earl S. White and Delphia Nichols White. He was employed by United Properties and was the former manager of Imperial Gardens of Spencer.
Surviving are his wife, Charlotte Foster White; four daughters, Dyanne Turner, Cheryl Sabo (Bob), Noreen Snivley (Brant) Janet Godfrey (Paul) all of Ohio; two sons, Philip White (Linda) and Jerry White (Vivian) all of Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Mary Ann White of Ohio; three sisters, Lesta Vipperman and Carol (Philip) and Linda Cottrell (Hammond) all of West Virginia; three brothers, Cebert (Wanda), Cary (Darlene) and Dean (Janet) all of West Virginia.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Davie; two sisters, Agnes and Phyllis; four brothers, Marvin, Sylphen, Arden and Calvin.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 2 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg WV. Interment will be in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery at Normantown WV.
