9:15 FRIDAY - A 14-year-old male was injured in a single vehicle accident at the Millstone intersection of US-33/119 about 8:40 p.m. Friday, with the victim being sent to Charleston Area Medical Center.

The youth was an unrestrained passenger in a truck that went out of control and crashed into a creek-bed.

Reports at the scene indicate possible fractures and other injuries.

HealthNet could not fly to the county because of a hovering electric storm.

The WV State Police is investigating the accident. The Arnoldsburg VFD responded.
