John Dale Cyrus, 45 of Chloe, Braxton County, West Virginia, passed away June 8, 2011.
He was born in Wadsworth, Ohio, a son of Norma Cyrus Tanner of Chloe and the late Wilbur Cyrus.
He was an employee of the West Virginia Department of Highways, Millstone Division, a member of the Upper West Fork Volunteer Fire Dept., a US Army Veteran, an avid hunter and fisherman and attended the Elmira Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Elizabeth Cyrus; a son, Timothy Cyrus of Wooster, Ohio; and a daughter, Mary Beth Cyrus Husk (Brian) of Chloe; two step daughters, Samantha Caudill (James) of Chloe and Jessica Hardway (Jeromy) of Mt. Zion; a brother, Matthew Cyrus (Teri) of Lodi, Ohio; and a sister, Cindy Gibbons (Ron) of Crestline, Ohio; four grandchildren, Landon Andrew Hardway, Kylie Ryann Caudill, Bryson Husk and Dekotta Husk; several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
