| Irene DeBoard, 85, of Spencer, West Virginia, died June 3, 2011, in the CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
She was born September 6, 1925, in Raleigh County, a daughter of the late Carl Lee and Ethel Mae Weikle Coffee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam, in 1979; a son, Roy; a granddaughter and a grandson.
She was retired as an LPN at Spencer State Hospital, Roane General Hospital, and Gordon Memorial Nursing Home. She was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church, Spencer.
Survivors include four daughters, Velma DeBoard of Lockport NY, Imogene Burrow of Midland TX, Margaret DeBoard and Doretta May, both of Spencer; son, David DeBoard of Albion NY; brother, Willard Coffee of Ravenswood WV; sister, Edna DeBoard, also of Ravenswood; 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Monday, June 6 at 11:00 a.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial will be in the Saunders Cemetery at Indore WV.
