Zelma S. Mason, 68, of Elizabeth WV, passed away May 15, 2011, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Romie and Anna Law Chedester.
She was a 1961 graduate of Wirt County High School and a member of Two Ripple Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, cooking and spending time with her family.
She was survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Charles "Butch" Mason; one son, Rick (Yvonne) Mason of Elizabeth; one daughter, Angie (Eddie Rockhold) Mason of Elizabeth; four grandchildren, Bobbie, Joe, Levi and Harlie Mason, all of Elizabeth; two sisters, Patsy "Jean" Hunt and Machelle (Mark) Gapa of Elizabeth; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 18 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth, with Rev. Robert Watkins officiating. Interment will be at K of P Cemetery of Elizabeth.
Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Tuesday.
