A large group of local folks participated in the annual Palm Sunday parade in Grantsville yesterday.
The event is sponsored each year by the Minnie Hamilton Health System, Chaplains Association.
The celebrated reenactment of the Triumphal Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem marks the beginning of Holy Week and the count down to Easter.
The group gathered at the First Baptist Church in Grantsville and after a brief welcome, took up palm branches and made their way through town with song and praise, gathering afterward for a service filled with special music.
