Glen Siers and I drove to Summersville last week to pick up a few things for his son Allen. It was a nice drive. Glen and I talked about when they were building Route 19 to Summersville. They actually carved a huge part of the mountain away to make this road and we're glad they did.
Heather, Ben and the girls came to visit Saturday around noon. I'm
glad she called early that morning so I would have a good dinner. Blaine King and Jake Settles stopped by while they were here and had dinner with us. Ruby and Lea was happy to see Blaine.
Sunday Blaine and Jake came by and Jake weed-eated and I mowed. It looks good to me. I'm so happy to have a lawnmower.
Early Friday morning Wanda Richards and her daughter Genie picked me up a 7:00 a.m. to take me to Roane General Hospital in Spencer for a CT scan that has been long coming. With blood work and the Ct scan I was done by 9. We then went to Tudors for breakfast then Walmart and Farmers Friend for supplies and home early in the day.
Get'ur'done. I love that.
I haven't seen any hummingbirds yet but they have been sighted in West
Virginia.
