Freeman Edward Lupardus, 80, of Gandeeville, West Virginia, died Saturday, April 9, 2011, in the Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.
He was born April 4, 1931, in Roane County, a son of the late Fred Matthew and Sarah Edith Snyder Lupardus.
Freeman was a farmer and a Christian. He was a life long resident of Roane County. He had worked on farms for Burl Harper, Wayne Lawson, Damon Painter and Hank Pence.
Survivors include his fiancée, Ruth Kidder of Gandeeville; brother, Shelby Lupardus of Paintsville KY; sister, Marie Wilson of Indiana; many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 13 at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Jack Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Snodgrass Cemetery, Gandeeville.
Friends may call Monday and Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
