| Grace Stump, 88, of Sand Ridge, West Virginia, passed away April 7, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born in Calhoun County, September 18, 1922, a daughter of the late McClellan and Verna Elliott Haught.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Grantsville WV. She was a 1940 graduate of Calhoun County High School.
Surviving are two daughters, Evelyn (Harold) Fulks of Millstone WV and Emily Gainer of Grantsville; one son, Charles (Patti) Stump of Sand Ridge; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Warder E. Stump, Jr.; a son, Richard Stump; a grandson, Todd Stump; a brother, Elliott Haught; and a sister, Lena King.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10 at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville. Rev. Greg Swisher will officiate. Interment will be in the Sand Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 12-noon Sunday until the time of services. |
