| Reva Owens, 88, of Ravenswood, West Virginia, passed away April 7, 2011 in Ravenswood.
She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Victor and Alta Stull Gainer. She was a former member of the Maysville Bible Brethren Church at Petersburg and was a charter member of Faith Bible Church of Ravenswood.
Surviving are two sons, Gary Owens (Nila) of Millwood WV and Cary Owens (Kathy) of Petersburg WV; three daughters, Donna Sturm (Richard) of Ravenswood; Velieca Raines (Steve) of Ripley and Mitzie Kauffman (Dean) of Boonesboro MD; five brothers, Garrett Gainer of Grantsville WV, Dale Gainer of TN, Ronzel Gainer of Shawnee KN, Wendell Gainer and Darrell Gainer both of Ohio; two sisters, Sue Richards of Elyria OH and Midge Hathaway of Clarksburg WV; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ottmer Owens; 1 grandson, Allen Owens; and 4 sisters, Geneva, Mary, Odie and Lenore.
Funeral services will be held 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 10 at Stump Funeral in Grantsville. Rev. Steve Raines will officiate. Interment will be in the Nobe Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and one hour prior to services Sunday.
