Two new students that have recently completed welding certifications at Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center. Cory Metz and Steve Sims completed a plate test in stick welding at Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center.
Dillon Richards completed his Mig Plate certificate, making it his second certification this year.
Calvin Knotts, Justin Wood, and Justin Yeager all recently competed in this years competition at SKILLS-USA. Knotts was a secondary welder, Wood was a post grad welder, and Yeager presented C-GCC's first welding sculpture in a new SkillsUsa competition.

"I am again extremely proud of all of these students and there dedication in participating in these activities," said Carl Collins, Welding Technology Instructor.
