| Eber "Dale" Davis 76, of Elizabeth, West Virginia, passed away Sunday April 3, 2011 at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg.
Dale was born in Wirt County, March 5, 1935 the son of the late Austin Davis. He retired from Walker Butler of Williamstown after 36 years service. He enjoyed farming, gardening and fishing.
He is survived by his son, Randy Davis of Kernersville NC; 1 grandson, Aaron Davis of Kernersville; sisters, Orpha Mae Underwood of Brohard WV and Garnet Whited of Elizabeth; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Bruce Roberts of Elizabeth; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 34 years Barbara Davis; 2 brothers-in-law, James Underwood and Charles Whited.
Services will be held Tuesday April 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth with Pastor Dean Ash officiating. Visitation will be Monday April 4 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of the service. Interment will be in the K of P Cemetery of Elizabeth.
