Fire completely destroys Walnut Rd. dwelling
Fireman attack blaze from several angles
A rapidly spreading fire destroyed a Walnut Rd. residence Wednesday.
Kenny McCumbers said he left his house briefly and returned to discover it was on fire. He was unable to enter the dwelling to recover any personal effects.
McCumbers had lived in the dwelling for about 15 years, with his 15-year-old daughter who was at school when the fire broke out.
They lost everything.
McCumbers is reportedly a Calhoun school bus driver.
The Upper West Fork VFD responded to the 11 a.m. fire, with assistance from the Arnoldsburg VFD.
