A new Al-Anon Family Group has has been formed in Braxton County.
For over 55 years, Al-Anon has been offering strength and hope for friends and families of problem drinkers. It is estimated that each alcoholic affects the lives of at least four other people ... alcoholism is truly a family disease.
No matter what relationship you have with an alcoholic, whether they are still drinking or not, all who have been affected by someone else's drinking can find solutions that lead to serenity in the Al-Anon fellowship.
The group meets Tuesday evenings at 7:30 at the Braxton County Fellowship Home, 72 South Stonewall Street, Sutton WV.
Al-Anon practices the principle of anonymity, members can rest assured their presence and comments will not be shared outside of the meetings. For more information contact Carri at 304-290-5491.
