| Naomi Karen Richard, 74, of Green Sea, South Carolina, formerly of Walton West Virginia, went home to be with her Lord Monday, March 7, 2011.
She was born near Industry WV, July 12, 1936, a daughter of the late Clarence Maze, Sr. and Nona Mae Rose Maze.
She was a homemaker and loving mother of three children. She enjoyed baking bread for her family and friends, working in her flowers and reading her Bible. She was a member of Mullins Church of God, where she had been active in the Women's Ministries.
Surviving are three children, Joe (Betty) Richard of Portland TN, Jay (Mary) Richard of Walton, and Debbie Richard of Green Sea; one brother, Roger (Martha Helen) Maze of Limestone TN.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Arlis D. Richard; two brothers, Clarence Maze Jr., and Blaine Maze; two sisters, Betty Krugman and Connie Lahman.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, March11 at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville WV. Rev. C.B. Turner will officiate. Interment will be in the Wolverton Cemetery at Munday WV.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until time of services Friday.
