CHARLESTON MAN DIES OF GUNSHOT - A Charleston man was shot and killed Wednesday on the West Side.
Charleston police went to investigate an accident, but discovered that Michael Jerome Grady, 48, had been shot.
Police said Grady was driving a van, and was likely shot somewhere else and was trying to drive away when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed.
CHARLESTON STABBING - Police are investigating a stabbing on Charleston's West Side at 2:11 a.m. A 16-year-old boy said he was jumped and stabbed with an eight-inch knife. He was taken to the hospital.
MARTINSBURG MAN STABS STEPSON - A Martinsburg man who allegedly stabbed his stepson Sunday morning was arrested by police about four hours after the incident.
Albert Junior "Bucky" Johnson, 34, was apprehended by members of the Martinsburg Police Department and was charged with one count of felony malicious wounding.
Police indicated that Johnson had stabbed Robert Simms, his stepson, in the back before fleeing the scene.
