| A 74-year-old Henry's Fork man died Thursday in Cabell-Huntington Burn Center from burns he suffered earlier in the week at his residence.
Fred Whytsell, Jr. was seriously burned Wednesday while he attempted to put out a trash fire when it got out of control.
He received severe burns on the lower part of his body and burns to his hands.
A neighbor said Whytsell, who had some debilitating health problems, "burned one of his shoes off his foot."
Funeral arrangements are being made at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer. |
