Welcome to Beason. Once again, I am behind a few weeks. I want to thank all my loyal fans for wanting me to continue writing this article. I really appreciate your kind words.

First, we would like to extend our sympathies to the Tate and Ross families for the loss of their loved ones. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. If there is anything you need, the Beason clan is always there for you.

Congratulations to Jared Haught of Calhoun for his win at the State Wrestling Tournament. Rock on Jared!

There will be a Pampered Chef-Tastefully Simple Bingo to be held soon to help the 5th grade classes go on their trip to Kings Island. Please come out and help these kids make their trip a reality. For further information, please contact me. I will have details a little bit later in the week.

My friend Lori and I went to Pittsburgh to see Bon Jovi. Yes, that's right, Bon Jovi. It was amazing to say the least. Even after all these years in the music business, they were as good as they were back when we first heard them. It was even cooler because the whole crowd was about our age. It was like we all grew up together on Bon Jovi. All in all, a great show. We did, however, kind of get "misplaced" on the way home from Pittsburgh. The trip TO Pittsburgh is no problem. The trip from Pittsburgh can be a big problem, especially in the dark. It seems if you miss one exit, you are in Pittsburgh for at least another hour. Wow, what an eternal trip home. But, it was worth my ticket.

Lori's family and our family attended the Easyrider's Motorcycle Show in Columbus, Ohio. It was so much fun. There were so many creative people showing their bikes. The designs and the thought that went into these bikes were just spectacular. I think bikers often get a bad wrap. A lot of people automatically think if one has a bike, it makes one this horrible outlaw. Perhaps, if some took the time to get to know these great folks, one would find they were quite mistaken. I have found a lot of them ride for causes, raise money for kids, do a lot of very noble things. I think we all need to remember those things before we make judgment.

Avery and Ethan have both been on the sick list. Avery had a much rougher time of it though. I have a list of health care facility employees that really dislike me now. Ask me if I still sleep at night? Of course, I do. I resorted to taking Avery to the CCMH E.R. because I couldn't stand one more minute of him being in misery. I waited 5, yes 5, hours just to see a doctor. However, it was worth whatever it's going to cost somebody (I will be forwarding the bill to others). Avery had an amazing doctor and very caring nurses and assistants. I am very grateful for their knowledge and their kindness they gave us. I think perhaps some could learn by their example. Ethan had been ill also, but, his body had been much more forgiving. He got some antibiotics and was feeling better quickly.

Did you get your taxes done already or do you wait until the last minute? We got ours done last week and hopefully, MY money will arrive soon. However, MY money will be paying property tax and all that happy stuff. Yuck. It will be a joyous moment that I get to hold that check in my hand only to hand it over to the sheriff.

I'm looking forward to spring and all that it brings. I did hear the hopeful sounds of the peepers after the rain last night. So, spring must not be far away.

Peace.
