| Carl Lee, 85, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Monday, February 21, 2011, in Ravenswood Care Center, Ravenswood.
He was born February 10, 1926, in Walton WV, a son of the late Howard and Lilly E. Harper Lee. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Frances N. Lee.
Mr. Lee was a retired carpenter, a member of the Church of Christ, and an Army veteran.
Surviving relatives include two sons, Dr. C. David Lee and Rodney Lee,
both of Ft. Myers FL; one daughter, Joan Fields of Poinciana FL; two
sisters, Violet Weaver of Liberty WV, and Ruby Brannon of Spencer;
one brother, Elmer Lee of Lincoln Park MI; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 26 at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Emzy Ashby officiating. Burial will be in the Swank Cemetery, Speed, WV.
Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
