The Gilmer County Board Of Education has approved the following changes in the School Calendar to make up for lost instruction time due to inclement weather.
The Instructional Enhancement day scheduled for Friday February 25 has been changed to a regular instructional day for students with a two hour early dismissal.
The April Instructional Enhancement day has been moved to April 22 and will be converted to a regular instructional day with a 3 hour early dismissal for Easter Break.
The June Instructional Enhancement Day will be moved to June 6.
The following dates are being added as regular instructional days for students: March 28, 29, 30, April 21, 25, June 1, 2 and 3. Students will be off March 31 and April 1 for spring break. These changes will permit students to make up the 10 days of lost instruction due to inclement weather.
