| Brice Laughlin, 79, of Arnoldsburg, West Virginia, passed away February 7, 2011 at Louis Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center in Clarksburg.
He was born in Calhoun County a son of the late Lewis and Lovie Townsend Laughlin. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and was a long time pipeliner. He was the leader of the former Bluegrass Travelers Band.
Surviving are a sister and brother, Florence Hall and Eugene Laughlin both of Arnoldsburg; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends including the Rick Falls family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Floda Laughlin, Opal Houchin and Flo Starcher; four brothers, Doyle, Brooks, Roy and Lonzo Laughlin.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 11 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Glen McBride will officiate. Interment will be in the Road Run Cemetery at Arnoldsburg.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Friday until time of services.
