Two vehicles collided on Nobe Road near the Chapel Church Saturday afternoon,
sending several people to the hospital. Reports from the scene said at least six
people, mostly minors, received treatment.

Sources at the scene said the road appeared to be very slippery after lightly falling
rain.
A few minutes before the Nobe accident, emergency services responded to a wreck
in the sharp curve at Cabot Station, Route 5 west of Grantsville. Two vehicles struck.
Parties from both cars were taken to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center by Calhoun
