A Ritchie County school bus crashed yesterday following an early dismissal because of weather conditions.
The driver of the bus was reportedly taken to the hospital, but none of the students received serious injuries, although a spectator said some received bloody noses.
The accident happened about 1:30 p.m.
The bus, after going out of control, went over an embankment and struck a tree along State Rt. 16, about two miles south of Harrisville.
Regional highways were very hazardous Wednesday afternoon.
