JACKSON ATTORNEY SUSPENDED FOR METH CHARGES

(01/22/2011)
A Jackson County attorney will spend time behind bars on drug charges, related to the manufacturing of meth.

Jessica Sullivan was sentenced to one to five years in prison after she pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit a felony and delivery of meth.

Sullivan was arrested in July, 2010 after investigators caught her trading meth for material needed to make the drug. Officials also caught her smoking meth.

As part of a plea agreement, 39 charges were dropped against Sullivan.

The Disciplinary Board of the West Virginia State Bar has suspended Sullivan's law license.
