| Minnie Hamilton Health System-Glenville Office is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Kasey A. Statum to their staff. Dr. Statum is a pediatrician who will begin working in the Glenville office on February 1, 2011.
Dr. Statum received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Davis and her Doctor of Medicine from Howard University College of Medicine. She completed her residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Jacobi Medical Center in December 2002. Dr. Statum began her career at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. During that time, she also worked for the New York Medical Alliance at the North Central Bronx Hospital. From there, she moved into a group practice called KIDSMENT, LLC in Statesboro, Georgia. She stayed in group practice at the Shenandoah Community Health Center.
Dr. Statum is conversant in medical Spanish. She is involved in several professional organizations including American Academy of Pediatrics, American Holistic Medical Association and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, movies, reading and watching football.
