| Eva Ann Simmons Smith, 81, passed away Jan. 11, 2011 at Minnie Hamilton Health Care in Grantsville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lafayette Smith; her grandparents, Winnie and Preston Simmons, who raised her; and her mother, Winnie Edith Rouner.
Survivors include sisters, Esther Humbertson and her husband Albert of Waynesboro, Va., Loretta Moses of Greenwood, S.C.; and an aunt, Nina Whipkey of Parkersburg.
A special thanks to Nadine Smith of Big Bend who was her caregiver for many years.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville.
Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Memorial Gardens, near Grantsville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:30-11 a.m. Thursday.
