No action was taken Monday night by the Calhoun Board of Education, related to the WV Public Employees Grievance Board ordering the reinstatement of Frank Tetrick, former Director of Supportive Services. Tetrick was fired last year.
"By mutual agreement the deadline for an appeal is being extended and Board action is anticipated at the January 27th meeting," said Superintendent Roger Propst.
The WV Public Employees Grievance Board ruled that Tetrick's termination was not justified.
Tetrick was hired as Director of Supportive Services following the retirement of Donnie Pitts, who has now returned to that position.
The Grievance Board has ordered that Tetrick be reinstated,
providing him with lost wages, with interest, and restoring all other employment benefits.
The Grievance Board further ordered that the matter be removed from his personnel file.
