| Milford Tyler "Jake" Mathes, Jr. 25, of Wallace, North Carolina, died January 4, 2011.
He was born in Webster Springs, W.Va., February 16, 1985, a son of the late Milford Tyler "Blackie" Mathes, Sr. and Margaret Collins of Grantsville, West Virginia.
He worked in the heating & air conditioning business in Wallace NC.
Surviving in addition to his mother are two brothers, A.J. Morris of Cowen WV and Mike Mathes of Grantsville; two sisters, Lynn Linkous of Craigsville WV and Mildred "Star" Green of Grantsville; 2 nieces, Nevaeha and Breeanna Green; and 2 nephews, Jimmy and Chuckie Linkous.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister, Susanne Riley; a brother, Billy Riley; and his grandparents.
Services will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 9 at Adams-Reed Funeral Home in Cowen WV with Rev. Randall Griggs officiating.
Burial will be in the Donaldson Cemetery, Cowen. |
