| Thomas Elwood Dillon, 78, of Nitro, West Virginia, passed away December 26, 2010 at home following a long battle with Parkinson's Disease and Alzheimer's.
He was born at Dale, Tyler County WV, a son of the late Thomas E. and Olive Lyons Dillon. He was retired from the Eureka Pipeline Company with 35 years service. He was a member of the United Israel World Union Church.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Thelma Williamson Dillon; two daughters, Linda Khumnark and Brenda Dillon both of Charleston WV; two sisters, Shirley Snyder of Massillon OH and Hettie Norman of Canal Fulton OH; one brother, Jennings Dillon of West Union WV.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30 at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville WV. Interment will be in the Big Bend Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
