Private Gabriel R. Wotring graduated from the United States Army Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma December 16, 2010.
He is the great grandson of Victor E. Whytsell, Acting Commander of VFW Post 5959 in Grantsville, WV. On Saturday December 18th, Gabe and Gene spent the day comparing notes, sharing stories, and singing cadence. Gene is a United States Army veteran of World War II.
Gabe departs January 2nd for completion of AIT at Fort Eustis, Virginia specializing in an avionics specialty.
