| Ronald Cecil Bias, 61, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Saturday, December 25, 2010, at home, after an extended illness.
He was born March 27, 1949, in Asheville, NC, a son of Lola Stevens Bias Owens of Spencer and the late Charles Cecil Bias. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert Owens.
Ron was a retired painter and tree trimmer.
In addition to his mother, survivors include a son, Charles Daniel Fisher of Ozark AL; five grandchildren; sisters, Shirley J. Matz of Summerfield FL, Gloria Turner of Spencer and Nancy Wise of Oswego NY; brother, Thomas E. Bias of Spencer.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 28 at 11:00 a.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Dr. Kenneth J. Seen officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery, Clover.
Friends may call Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
