Harry Taylor, 72, of Pennsboro, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 1st, 2010 at Camden Clark Hospital, Parkersburg.
He was born August 16, 1938, a son of Harry Clinton Taylor and Roena Corinne Taylor.
He was a 1956 graduate of Pennsboro High School and served in the U.S. Army for two years. He worked with the U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier until retirement with 30 years of service. He was a member of the Beason U.M. Church and a charter member of the Rainbow Grange with 52 years of service.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Sharon Hoff Taylor; a daughter, Brenda Taylor, sons, Michael (Diana) Taylor and Brian (Kathy) Taylor; three grandchildren, Avery and Ethan Taylor and Brittany Scites; three sisters, Mary Richards, Jean Hoalcraft and Helen Hoalcraft; and brother, Bill Taylor.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was a sister Betty Huffman.
Services were held on Saturday, December 4th at McCullough-Rogers Funeral Home, Pennsboro with the Rev. Bill Jemison and Rufus Hoalcraft officiating. Interment was in the Pennsboro E.E.B. Cemetery.
