| Loretta Lynnette Delaney, age 34 went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2010 at her residence in Spencer, West Virginia.
Loretta was born July 2, 1976 in Parkersburg WV, the daughter of Nancy L. Delaney-Starkey and the late Rev. Gary E. Delaney.
Loretta leaves behind devoted boyfriend, Davey Boswell of Spencer;
son, Nathan E. Peck of Grantsville WV; parents, Nancy L. Delaney-Starkey and James S. Starkey of Clarksburg WV; Sharon Davis of Parkersburg, and Kenny Elliot of Elizabeth WV; grandparents, Rev. William J. Ferrell of Wytheville VA, Jimmy E. Delaney, Hazel Pritchard, and John Stevens all of Parkersburg; siblings, Kenny and Kenneth of Germany; Rebecca, identical twin Laura, Robert, Melissa, Candy and Cheryl all of WV.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Gary E. Delaney; grandmothers, Rebecca Ruth Ferrell and Alma Joy Delaney and grandmother and grandfather Elliot.
Loretta grew up in Doddridge County WV, attending West Union Grade School and Doddridge County High School. She was Apostolic-Pentecostal and "grew up on a church pew".
Viewing and service for Loretta will be at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, 406 Market St, Spencer WV, on Monday, November 29 with family visitation from 10-11 a.m. and public visitation from 11 a.m. to 12-noon, service will begin at noon, officiated by Rev. Rick Delaney, Loretta's uncle. No burial service will follow.
