| Lorna White age 90 of Sheridan St., Glenville, West Virginia, departed this life at 6:23 p.m., Monday, November 15, 2010 at Glenville Care and Rehabilitation Center, Glenville following an extended illness.
She was born September 12, 1920 in Luke, Maryland, a daughter of the late Bruce and Annie Sea Shell.
Lorna retired from Summers Pharmacy. She was a member of Gilmer Co. Senior Citizens; Trinity United Methodist Church and she loved crocheting and cooking especially pies and bread rolls.
Surviving is one daughter, Janet Exline (Joe) of Beaverdam VA; 3 grandchildren, David Exline of Mechanicsville VA; Diana Exline of Beaverdam and Christopher Exline of Mechanicsville; 6 great grandchildren, Paul, Matthew, and Bryan Exline, Dustin Pierce, Jessica Arnold and Taeah Exline; and 2 great-great grandchildren, Shayne and Braydan Exline; three brothers, Elbert Shell of Baker VA, Gene Shell of Weyers Cave VA and Ed Shell of Augusta WV.
Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, Leaman White who she married in 1939 and preceded in 1943; one daughter Linda Ann White, 3 sisters and 2 brothers, Edith McDonaldson, Erma Strawderman, Neva Shaver, Oakley Shell and Derald Shell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Glenville with Rev. Mark James officiating. Burial will follow in the Dusk Camp Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church.
