| Stanley Glen McLaughlin, 44, of Glenville, West Virginia, left this world to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 10:30 p.m. at his parents home in Arnoldsburg, WV after succumbing to a battle with lung cancer.
He was born April 12, 1966 in Sutton WV to Ronald "Ronnie" and Glenna McLaughlin. He was a 22 year employee of Flying W Plastics in Glenville. He enjoyed constructing wood crafts for family and friends in his spare time.
Stanley is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Cecil and Murl Hall; paternal grandparents, Thomas Eugene and Lovie McLaughlin; and uncle, Larry Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Molly Miller McLaughlin; son, Stanley Glen McLaughlin II and his fiancée, Breanna Boggs all of Glenville; his loving parents, Ronald "Ronnie" and Glenna McLaughlin of Arnoldsburg. He is also survived by his sisters, Connie (John) Carpenter of Sand Fork WV, and Lynn (Jeff) Cottrill of Rosedale WV; brother, Wayne McLaughlin of Bellaire Ohio; 9 nieces and nephews, 7 great nieces and nephews; 3 aunts, 4 uncles, and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17 at Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg. Pastor Garry Bowen and Elder George Rose will officiate. Interment will be in the Poling-Marks Cemetery at Millstone WV.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. |
