| Lida McCune Bailey, 92, of Beech Community, Orma, West Virginia, went home October 29, 2010 after a short illness.
She was born May 19, 1918 on Wolf Run and was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Albert Bailey; two children, Donzel Ray and Betty Jane; one daughter-in-law, Delores (Butler) Bailey; and a son-in-law, Luther Jarrett Hicks; her twin sister Ida Siers, and sisters, Anne and Myrtle; five brothers, Okey, Motor Ray, Boyd, Joe and Woodrow.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Bailey of Wilmot Ohio and Jim (Carolyn) Bailey of Beech; two daughters, Bernice Hicks of Statesville NC, and Mary (Kenneth) Butler of Beech; and long-time companion and friend, Virginia Neely; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, November 1st at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Rick Metheney will officiate. Interment will be in the Bailey Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, and from 9 a.m. Monday until time of services. |
