Oma Catherine White, 94, of Belpre, died Oct. 28, 2010 at the Arcadia Nursing Home in Coolville, Ohio.
She was born in Stumptown, W.Va., the daughter of the late Elliott and Violia Ann Matthews White. She had attended the Rockland United Methodist Church. She had worked for Fairmont Foods, Dils Department Store, Pitzer Book Store and for Firestone in Akron for a year.
Survivors include her sister, Orma Alton, of Belpre, and a nephew, Wayne Vannoy and his wife Alta, of Elizabethtown, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Ola Vannoy and her husband Thurl, Opal White, and a brother-in-law Bill Alton.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with graveside services at 2:30 p.m. at the Collins Comunity Cemetery in Stumptown. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5 p.m.
